Chris Hemsworth owns in "Blackhat" trailer

Chris Hemsworth is best known for playing Thor, but you can't say he's not at least looking to branch out, headlining Michael Mann's hacker thriller "Blackhat."

Mann, known for crisp, cool action films like "Collateral" and "Miami Vice," tackles this story of an imprisoned hacker who pursues a cyberterrorist in exchange for his freedom.

"Blackhat" opens in Jan. 2015 and co-stars Viola Davis and William Mapother.
