ALIEN: COVENANT is the next Alien prequel

Good news for "Alien" fans!

There's going to be another "Alien" prequel called "Alien: Covenant."

"Alien: Covenant" picks up where "Prometheus" left off.

You will also be able to see how this ties in to the original classic movie.

Headed to an isolated planet on a distant part of the galaxy, the team on the colony ship Covenant finds what they believe to be a beautiful place with nobody else in it, but the truth is that it's a dark, unstable world. The only person in this new world is the "synthetic" David (Michael Fassbender), who lived through the Prometheus trip.

"Alien: Covenant" lands into theaters on October 6, 2017.
