Chris Hemsworth will have a big part in 'Star Trek 4'
He's a dad in real life, and now, he has once again agreed to be a dad to one of the most iconic characters of all time!
That's right, Chris Hemsworth is taking on the role of George Kirk, Captain Kirk's dad, again!
George passed away in the very beginning of the first movie, before his son could ever get to know him.
But now, Chris Hemsworth's George Kirk will have a big part in "Star Trek 4."
How is this possible you ask?
It's possible because Captain James T. Kirk is finally going to meet his dad face to face in the fourth movie.
Chris Pine is once again taking on the role of Captain James T. Kirk for the movie. It's a safe bet that Simon Pegg, John Cho, Zachary Quinto, Karl Urban, and Zoe Saldana are also all coming back for the new movie.
No word yet on what will happen to Chekov, the late Anton Yelchin's character.
In the meantime, "Star Trek: Beyond" will be playing at a theater near you this Friday.
