Paul Rudd stars as Peter Klaven who, after asking his girlfriend (Rashida Jones) to marry him, realizes he has no one to be his best man. Determined to find someone to fill this position, Peter starts going out on uncomfortable man-dates and meets Sydney Fife (Jason Segel), with whom he forms a bond.
