On some of the most dangerous streets in L.A., officers Dan Taylor (Jake Gyllenhaal) and Mike Zavala (Michael Pena) see some of the worst the city has to offer when it comes to crime, corruption and gang violence. As they patrol the streets the two struggle to maintain balance in their own personal lives and avoid the dangers of their day jobs.
