Doug (Justin Bartha) is getting married. Naturally his loyal friends, Alan (Zach Galifianakis), Stu (Ed Helms) and Phil (Bradley Cooper) want to give him a bachelor party not to forget. Unfortunately what they get is just the opposite. The four head to Las Vegas to mark the end of Doug's bachelorhood only to wake up unable to remember anything about the night before. Troublesome? Yes. Especially considering the tiger in the bathroom, the baby in the closet and the missing groom.

Director Ang Lee tells the story of the defining moment for America's counter culture with a look at the infamous gathering in Bethel, New York in 1969. A gathering that became Woodstock. Elliot Tiber (Demetri Martin) was looking for a way to help his parents who had fallen into financial trouble with their motel in the Catskills of upstate New York when he finds out that producers of a music festival are in need of a venue. Tiber makes a call and what follows is a festival to go down in history.
