From director Steven Soderbergh and based on a true story, The Informant! stars Matt Damon as Mark Whitacre, an executive turned FBI informant who had somewhat of a hand in exposing price fixing within his own agricultural company that would shock many and cost the companies involved more than $1 billion. Whitacre is anything but a savvy, subtle, secret source. One thing he is, is a bit puzzling - even forcing his FBI handlers to question why Whitacre decided to all but hand over his corrupt colleagues.
