Holly (Katherine Heigl) and Eric (Josh Duhamel) find out quickly on their first date that they are less than compatible. The only thing that the two share is a connection to Sophie, their goddaughter. Both Eric and Holly have a strong focus on their career and social calendars. But when an unfortunate turn of events puts Sophie in their sole care, Holly and Eric must find a way to focus on family and put their differences aside.
