Martin Scorsese and Leonardo Dicaprio team up once again in the theatrical telling of author Dennis Lehane's psychological thriller. Teddy Daniels (Dicaprio) is a United States Marshall sent to an asylum for the criminally insane to investigate they mysterious disappearance of a young woman. With his partner (Mark Ruffalo), Daniels finds himself haunted while in the midst of a tangled mystery that only gets harder and harder to solve. Also starring Ben Kingsley.
