In this Academy Award nominated film by director Jason Reitman ("Juno," "Thank You For Smoking"), George Clooney is Ryan Bingham, a "career transition" specialist who travels across the country firing people for a living. Bingham is at home in his career and in the world of travel, the skies the hotel rooms and the occasional speaking engagement where he preaches his philosophy that life is a backpack. But when his company pairs him up with newcomer Natalie Keener (Anna Kendrick) who wants to revolutionize his business, Bingham begins a transition of his own, taking a second look at his work, his relationships and his life in the sky.

Lee Daniels' "Precious: Based on the Novel Push by Sapphire" takes place in 1987 Harlem. Precious (Gabourey Sidibe) is 16 years old and overweight with her second child, both a result of the brutal rape of a now absent father. Precious' mother Mary (played by Mo'Nique) is equally abusive in every way. Still, Precious allows herself to dream of a better life, even if she doesn't believe it will ever come true. Beaten down and on welfare, Precious is encouraged to begin an alternative education program taught by Blu Rain (Paula Patton) who tries to open the young woman's eyes to what she has been deprived of for so long in her young life. It is Precious, who must find her own determination to rise above her circumstances.

Dan (Robin Williams) and Charlie (John Travolta) feel pretty good about their lives. They're lifelong friends with a successful business and a world of opportunity ahead of them. But for Dan, that world ahead now includes two children. When an old flame (played by Kelly Preston) informs Dan that he is the father of two. On top of it all, he's going to have to learn the lessons of parenthood quick since his old flame needs him to watch the kids for a short time. With the help of his best friend, Dan sets out to do just that. Penguins and some quality time with a gorilla ensue.
