To protect innocent people from the dangers of the evil forces around them, the elite and specially trained G.I. JOE team fights against the growing and increasingly dangerous COBRA organization. The capabilities of this special operations team is put to the test as they go into battle against a corrupt arms dealer and his band of deadly followers.

In this remake by director Tony Scott, a New York City subway train is hijacked by a small group of very dangerous criminals who threaten the train's passengers if a large sum of money is not paid. The situation becomes a battle between subway dispatcher Walter Garber (Denzel Washington) and the leader of the hijakers Ryder (John Tavolta). Garber must figure out a way to save the lives of several innocent passengers before running out of time.

Jeff Daniels and Lauren Graham star in this bitterly funny romantic comedy. Arlen Faber (Daniels) is a reclusive writer, sought after by his many fans and readers for the answers to life's toughest questions some 20 years after his book, "Me and God" became its own spiritual movement. Faber's lack of socialization seems to work for him, until a busted back leads him to meet chiropractor Elizabeth Danson (Graham).
