I’ll admit: when I first saw they were issuing a 25th anniversary edition of “Varsity Blues,” I thought to myself — that can’t be right. The high school football classic starring James Van Der Beek, Paul Walker, John Voight, Ali Lartner and more can’t possibly be a quarter-century old!

But it’s true. Yes, we’re all getting old. “Varsity Blues” is a classic film now.
