Indy Film Fest: If Not Now, Then When?
This BLM documentary may be short, but clearly, people are going to receive a colossal impact from it.
The short film, “If Not Now, Then When?” brings to light how much racism has impacted our world. It supports this enlightenment by including video clips from the year 1967 and some from 2020. This is even further supported by the inclusion of famous names and faces, such as George Floyd and Dr. Martin Luther King. One can easily tell how much time has passed since the time racism was so powerful, Blacks were treated like second-class citizens.
As a wise man once said, “Those who forget history are doomed to repeat it.” Nowadays, the meaning of this phrase has never been clearer. Racism may not have as much a say in things as it used to, but that does not mean it’s gone. So many Black people are still living in a world where they receive so much unfair treatment, especially in the law arena. This documentary may be short, but clearly, people are going to receive a colossal impact from it.
