Make "Room" for Midnight Madness at Keystone Art Cinema
This week at Keystone Art Cinema's "Midnight Madness" film series is the kitchy 2003 film "The Room," directed by and starring Tommy Wiseau. Called "The 'Citizen Kane' of bad movies," by Entertainment Weekly, "The Room" almost defies explanation: you have to see it to truly believe it even exists.
Synopsis (from Wikipedia): The film is primarily centered on the melodramatic love triangle between an amiable banker (Wiseau), his fiancée (Juliette Danielle), and his conflicted best friend (Greg Sestero). A significant portion of the film is dedicated to a series of unrelated subplots involving the friends and family of the main characters.
