'Oddball' brings dog, penguins to 2015 Heartland Film Festival

"Oddball" brings double the cuteness to this year's Heartland film Festival: a dog and penguins.

The special premiere screening for this cuteness overload will be at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, October 18, at AMC Showplace Traders Point 12.

It's a heartwarming, joy-packed movie about unusual chicken farmer Swampy Marsh and his granddaughter, Olivia. Trying to protect their seaside town and bring their family back together, they secretly train their energetic dog, Oddball, to protect a colony of endangered fairy penguins from getting taken out by foxes.

After the premiere, there will be a party at the Premiere Pavilion.
