Spotted: Did You Notice Rapunzel in "Frozen"?

Yes, you read that right: Rapunzel, star of Disney's last non-Pixar animated feature "Tangled," indeed made a cameo appearance in Disney's "Frozen." You can catch the crossover while Princess Anna of Arrendelle sings "For the First Time in Forever"; as Anna sings, she passes Rapunzel and her beau, Eugene. Notice the Disney Power Couple standing directly in front of Anna, who hardly gives the duo a second glance as she passes. Here is a screenshot from the film showing the appearance.

Is their appearance a sign that Disney is creating a comic-book-ish universe for their characters, or is it merely a fun inside joke? That magical appearance is hardly the only insider reference in "Frozen," which is currently blowing up the box office and has been easily the best animated feature in what has otherwise been a down year for the genre.
