'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' will be at the Indiana State Museum
https://www.youtube.com/embed/sGbxmsDFVnE&w=585 An early Christmas present for "Star Wars" fans!
"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" will open on Dec. 18 at the IMAX Theater at the Indiana State Museum.
This is the only theater in the Hoosier state where you can see the true version of "The Force Awakens," which is a huge honor because only 14 other theaters worldwide were given the opportunity to show this version of the movie. The true version of "The Force Awakens" makes the movie even better by showing some action-packed scenes in 15/70 mm projection.
This is what director J.J. Abrams himself wanted for the movie.
Directed by Abrams and produced by LucasFilm and Bad Robot Productions, "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" takes us back to the "Star Wars" universe, three decades after the end of "Return of the Jedi." It will introduce new characters Finn, Rey and Poe, and bring back the old gang we all know and love.
The IMAX at Indiana State Museum will be decked out in all things "Star Wars" to celebrate the film's premiere, including costumed "Star Wars" characters on opening night (December 18) and a huge Millennium Falcon mural in the theater lobby.
To ensure your spot for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" at the Indiana State Museum IMAX, get your tickets as soon as possible at www.imaxindy.com. Opening weekend shows are already going fast. But you can still get tickets for showtimes all the way up until Sunday January 3, 2016.
Tickets are $16 for evening shows and $13 for matinees.
