'Sully' comes out in September

No, it's not another "Monsters Inc." prequel. It's a biopic about one of the world's most well-known pilots.

"Sully" is cleared for takeoff to come to a theater near you on September 9, 2016. Tom Hanks will portray Captain Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger.

In 2009, some birds got into the engine of Sullenberger’s plane. Sullenberger was able to safely splash down on the Hudson River, saving the lives of everyone on board. This was known as the "Miracle on the Hudson."

Aaron Eckhart will be Sullenberger’s copilot, Jeff Skiles, while Laura Linney will take on the role of Lorraine Sullenberger, the captain's wife.

Clint Eastwood will direct the movie, which will be based on Sullenberger’s book and events that happened during his career.
