That Guy: Frank Langella Contest Winner and Answers
Here are the answers to our first-ever "That Guy" contest, featuring Frank Langella!
In case you've forgotten, in our last "That Guy" column, we featured actor Frank Langella, and hid five items inside a rendering of a screenshot from a movie in which Langella starred. Each of these items referred to a different film in which Langella starred. Readers were challenged to identify each of these items, plus the movie the still was taken from.
Here are the answers:
1. A framed copy of the Daily Planet, a reference to Langella's role in 2006's "Superman Returns."
2. A miniature coffin, a call back to Langella's role as Dracula in 1979.
3. The title item from the 2009 film "The Box," where Langella starred as the mysterious, scarred Arlington Steward.
4. The famous Watergate tapes, a shout-out to Langella's role as President Richard Nixon in "Frost/Nixon" from 2008.
5. The magical staff held by the villainous Skeletor, whom Langella played in 1987's "Masters of the Universe."
6. This photo of Langella comes from the 2005 film "Good Night, and Good Luck."
