CAINE GARDNER
Item: Beats by Dr. Dre On-Ear Headphones
Store: Best Buy
Price: $179.99
With two young children, I often find the only time I have to watch movies is after they're fast asleep. The upside is I have no interruptions. The downside is I tend to spend the entirety of the movie with my face pressed to the screen trying to make out what the actor's are saying in an attempt to not wake my children. Not the ideal way to watch a flick.
The perfect remedy is your laptop and a pair of Beats by Dre. The price tag might keep many away, but when you want to experience every soul-shaking explosion, while not waking the kids, these headphones are the way to go.
Item: Canon EOS Rebel T3i
Store: Best Buy
Price: $549.99
You know what the next best thing to watching a movie is? Making your own flick. Hits such as "The Avengers", "Captain America" and "127 Hours" have utilized DSLR cameras in one way shape or form and you can too. Is the Canon Rebel T3i going to give you the same look? Not quite, but it will at least get your career as a filmmaker going.
The best thing about using a DSLR is the fact you can shoot anywhere. You're walking down the street and find a perfect spot for that scene that's been bouncing around in your head. Pull it out of your backpack, turn it on and start shooting. It's as easy as that. And who knows, maybe in a few years, your film could find a place on the Indiana Film Journalist Association's Top 10 list.

LAUREN WHALEN
I'm a busy gal - who doesn't own a TV. One of my favorite things to do is marathon movies with my buddies (at their houses, of course). With this in mind, here are some excellent accessories for a stay-in movie night. Just add couch, DVDs/Netflix and junk food of your choice (and perhaps some libations) and you're good to go!
Item: Laura Scott Women's Knit Pajamas
Store: Sears
Price: $12.99-$13.99
Comfort is essential for movie night. With my loungewear, I go for cozy but cute (no ripped sweatpants allowed!). These pj's fit the bill - toasty but not stuffy, not too baggy, and a plethora of fun colors. Perfect for donning after you shuck off your work clothes and (if you must travel for movie night), layering on your coat and boots.
Item: Cannon Faux Fur Throw
Store: Sears
Price: $19.99
Horror movies are best viewed with your nearest and dearest, and inspire snuggling during the creepy scenes. These throws are literally warm and fuzzy, have all of the great animal prints with none of the guilt, and "faux fur" is just really fun to say. Also, at 50" x 70" they are big enough to share - with a significant other or with a friend who's more like a sibling. You won't even have to yell "Hey! Your feet are touching mine, ew!" Not that I've ever done that.
ZOE CHAPMAN
Item: Men's Flannel Shirt

Get into the 1940s spirit with a top deal on men's check shirts at Old Navy. Daniel Radcliffe stars as beat poet Allan Ginsberg in film bio/drama from director John Krokidas. Ginsberg and pals are entwined into the events surrounding the murder of Professor Kammerer (Michael C. Hall). Why not partner with dark brown slacks and a tweed jacket to complete your 40s get up and wear to the opening night of the film?
MO HAMMOND
Item: Monsters University Blu Ray/DVD/Digital Combo Pack
Store: K-Mart
Price: $13.99
If you’re a parent of a little one, or just looking to expand your Disney collection, this is a steal for under $20. Plus, Disney is notorious for taking their movies off of the shelves and putting them into that “vault” of theirs. Get it while you can.
Item: The Great Gatsby, Two-Disc Special Edition DVD Store: K-Mart Price: $7.99
This is such a visually stunning masterpiece that I’d gladly add the two-disc special edition to my collection.
