The Film Yap Lexicon is comprised of terms for certain phenomena in movies that occur often enough to form a pattern, typically things that are patently ludicrous either narratively, physically, or are the result of misguided choices by filmmakers. The Booby Bonus/The Extra Inch

The term to describe additional critical praise or notoriety given to an actress who gets naked in a film, and her choice to doff her clothes is then somehow considered a brave choice. Julianne Moore, Kate Winslet and Sharon Stone have frequently been the recipients of the Booby Bonus.

The male equivalent of this phenomena, The Extra Inch, is afforded to Ewan McGregor on a regular basis.
