There are so many moments of silence in short films, but this one really knows how to use them properly. In 1945, two brothers are planning to leave their home as the war is going on.
It is a difficult decision so they are holding onto the last moments they can. One brother is constantly writing in a diary and the other one is filled with regret and nostalgia. It’s a powerful amount of acting from them; they are the ones that add a lot of nuance to the characters in just a short amount of time.
