The Minions movie makes a billion

Yes, it's true: The Minions are officially billionaires!

On Thursday night, their movie officially made the amount of money every movie hopes to make. In North America, the movie brought in $321.9 million. Across the globe, the total has just come to $682 million.

"Minions" is now the third most profitable animated movie of all time and the most profitable movie that comes from Illumination Entertainment. And the movie hasn't even opened in Turkey, China, or Greece yet, but will soon.

This proves it: The Minions aren't going anywhere.
