Top 7 Hottest Horror Chicks
With the upcoming release of Diablo Cody’s Jennifer’s Body, the issue of hot women in horror flicks is sure to be a heated topic of discussion. Genre diehards will shout the names of Janet Leigh and Fay Wray, but looking at the films, it’s clear the hottest women to tackle the genre have been in recent years.
Sure, what is sexy now and what was sexy 50 years ago has changed, but man, the genre has never looked so good.
7. Rachel Nichols (The Amityville Horror, 2005)
Although she’s only onscreen for a whopping 10 minutes, Nichols is the most memorable part of this flick. If anyone had to tell me about a multi person slaying in my bedroom, a beautiful redhead baring her midriff is just the person to do it. Her appeal is heightened by the fact that she takes complete glee in tormenting the children and has attitude to spare.
6. Jamie Lee Curtis (Halloween, 1978)
While not yet to the height of her hotness in 1978, the original scream queen must be on the list. In her debut film, Curtis has the right blend of bad girls, good girl and as the film series progressed, she became smoking hot. With the new gig with Activia, she almost slid out of the Top 7, but hey, we all gotta pay the bills somehow I guess.
5. Naomi Watts (The Ring, 2002)
The Australian beauty was the star of the 2002 horror flick The Ring, and to be honest, was the only reason I stayed with the film. She is the type of actress who blends beauty, brains and the ability to deliver a blood-chilling yell with the best of them. She’s hot enough for me to watch The Ring 2 three times, and if you’ve seen that stinker, you know that’s saying something.
4. Neve Campbell (Scream, 1996)
While I’m at the confessional, I have one more to add. I was a Party of Five viewer. Phew, I’m glad that’s off my chest. I didn’t tune into the show for another more than to see Neve Campbell. Keep your Jennifer Love Hewitt, I’ll take Neve any day. In the Scream franchise, especially the original film, Campbell was never hotter. Even when the series went ridiculous, I still had Neve.
3. Jessica Biel (Texas Chainsaw Massacre, 2003)
I could get away with giving my reason Biel is on this list in three simple words – white tank top. Who knew a white tank top with a knot at the belly would define the horror genre for me in ’03? To be honest, I can tell you very little else about the flick other than Biel and her tank top. I remember something about a chainsaw, and some blood and … I think I’ll give it another viewing. God, I love my job.
2. Asia Argento (Land of the Dead, 2005)
For those of you saying “Who?”, you obviously have not seen George Romero’s Land of the Dead. The Italian born Argento plays the hooker Slack and trust me gentlemen, fishnets has never looked so good. Argento battled it out with a fellow bad girl for the No.1 spot, but having two bad girls at the top of the list equals out to a good thing for us.
1. Megan Fox (Jennifer’s Body, 2009)
Let’s face it, whatever Megan Fox appears in, she instantly become the hottest female in that genre. She might not have given us anything significant to look at substance wise, but if you’ve seen the red band trailer for Jennifer’s Body, she certainly has given us something to look at. Fox is hands down the hottest actress in Hollywood today and rarely have you seen a name so aptly fit the person.
