Trailer Round-Up: Peanuts, James Brown biopic, and more
Peanuts
Charlie Brown and Co. finally get an updated animated film from the folks at Blue Sky, who have previously handled fare like "Rio," the "Ice Age" films and "Horton Hears a Who." Will it be good? Can the often wistful, nostalgic subject matter translate to 21st-century audiences? Will they snark up Snoopy?
Get On Up
Chadwick Boseman, already lodged in the biopic community's consciousness with his performance as Jackie Robinson in "42," takes the visage of the Godfather of Soul and giving him the "La Bamba" / "Great Balls of Fire" / "Walk the Line" / "Ray" treatment. It's about time this film happens, but the question remains...will it be good? How do you feel after watching the trailer?
The Maze Runner
The latest in the teen lit series to get the cinematic treatment, this at least has originality on its side. A teen awakes imprisoned, with no memories but with what seems to be a tantalizing opportunity to escape through a treacherous, murderous maze.
Deliver Us From Evil

Pro Wrestlers vs. Zombies
Wrestling stars of yesteryear, including "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan, and Matt Hardy, team up to battle zombies in this insane-looking low-budget indie production. It looks patently ridiculous, but it could be fun counter-programming for the wrestling set or those who enjoy kitchy cinema.
