TV Recommendation Contest

All of the time, we are recommending things and having things recommended to us. Our personal lives, work and other priorities keep getting in the way. So I’m trying an experiment I will probably quickly regret.

Recommend a TV show to me this weekend, and I will watch two or three episodes of it in the next week or two. I’ll post my schedule and offer miniature reviews of them on the site. Whomever recommends the best show will win a TV-related prize.

I will watch any series for which I haven't already seen every episode. So "The Wire," "Arrested Development," "LOST," "M*A*S*H," etc. won't work. But shows like “Supernatural” or “Friday Night Lights” where I stopped watching for whatever reason, I’ll watch the next two to three of those. There are plenty of shows on now that have slipped through my cracks, and I haven’t seen a ton of the classics.
