We Remember Robin Williams: He Died 1 Year Ago Today
Believe it or not, Robin Williams died 1 year ago today.
I think it's safe to say that we all miss him.
His "The Crazy Ones" costar Sarah Michelle Gellar said it best in her tribute with a quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson.
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of the intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty; to find the beauty in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that one life has breathed easier because you lived here. This is to have succeeded.”
“You succeeded RW,”
And she was right. He did succeed. Honestly, if it wasn't for Robin Williams & his show "The Crazy Ones", I wouldn't be starting my own marketing business. In fact, my first adventure into marketing was promoting my petition to try to save "The Crazy Ones" from cancellation. I contacted someone who worked with Robin Williams & told them about my petition. That person ended up signing my petition & I do believe that Robin told her to sign it on his behalf.
That's just the kind of person he was & who will be remembered for years to come.
