It only lasts six minutes, but it’ll take a few more viewings to really understand Wings and Oars. It’s animated in a very nice way that mixes realism with metaphor to tell the story of a pilot.
What has happened to him and what is happening to him is up to how you interpret the events that take him to a lighthouse. Despite being lost for its duration, the film has a hypnotic quality to it. Definitely worth watching and discussing.
