It should. D.C. certainly gets a lot more independent/foreign films than Indianapolis. Four Daughters is getting a lot Oscars hype so I would expect you'll see it there.
I hope so! And I should emphasize that my generalization about art films playing in DC could be long out of date at this point. When i was young we had movie theaters showing art films and indie movies. Those theaters went away. Some of them stayed and just started showing more mainstream fodder.
It could well be that new ones have popped up that I don’t know about yet. I don’t pay much attention since the little effort I make to find art movies around here tends to come up short.
