The following Blu-rays and DVDs are being released on Tuesday, Sept. 8: The Age of Adaline (Blu-ray + DVD + Ultraviolet) Details: 2015, Lionsgate Home Entertainment Rated: PG-13, sexual references The lowdown: A story with an intriguing premise that is sabotaged by its romantic soap opera underpinnings and some science fiction gobbledygook that is expounded by a tedious narrator who sounds as if he is auditioning for a PBS “Nova” special. Blake Lively is lovely if not a bit cardboard as a woman who, after surviving what should have been a fatal car accident, has not aged for 80 years. The movie is slowly paced, and it seems an eternity passes before the finale. Still, the digital transfer is high quality in both picture and sound.
