The funny thing is that I was just thinking about emailing you and asking what you thought was the worst movie you saw this year. Now I know! I'm probably still going to watch it. It sounds like he did everything I feared he was going to do, which was not be original, and then some. Unfortunate but not suprising. Anyway, Happy Holidays!
Do you seriously think Siskel, Ebert, A.O. Scott, Pauline Kael, Manohla Dargis or Ann Hornaday would pull such an obnoxious stunt? For that matter, would Chris Lloyd? I rather doubt it. You owe it to the reader to give us the full title.
A couple of those people *absolutely* would do such a thing. Regardless, I don't claim to be like any of them. Frankly, it's a non-issue, as I reveal the subtitle early on in the review anyway. The dismissal of it in the subhead is simply a snarky flourish to express how little mental energy this film is worth.
What I owe you, as a critic, is my honest opinion. You got that—or, rather, you would have (along with the subtitle), had you actually read the review before commenting. Thanks for your interest in my work!
If Snyder isn't going to put in the effort to make his Star Wars riff remotely unique, engaging, or at any level entertaining, then I don't feel obligated to attach the title's presumptuous franchise trappings! "Rebel Moon" is the important part. If he wanted to ensure I remember it's a Part One, he should've attempted to make me care.

Unfortunate indeed. Best of luck to you when you watch it! I hope you get more out of it than I did. Happy Holidays to you as well.

Wow. What arrogance. "There's more to the title but I can't be bothered to type it all out." Really?
In that case, there's more to the review, but I can't be bothered to read it.
