“Man on a Ledge” taught me that I should never judge a movie by its title because I could miss out on something great. Despite its simple, borderline moronic title, I gave this film a look-see and I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. Nick Cassidy (Sam Worthington) is an innocent man willing to do anything to prove that fact. After losing two years of his life for swiping a diamond (from a character played by Ed Harris) that he didn’t steal, Nick breaks out of prison and begins a last-ditch effort to clear his name. With the help of his brother, Joey (Jamie Bell), and Joey’s girlfriend (Genesis Rodriguez), Nick sets out to steal the diamond he never stole to prove that he didn’t steal it. OK, I know it’s getting a little confusing, but trust me: It’s awesome.
