We have 5 Alamo Drafthouses and I have their monthly pass. I go any time they show an old film I want to see in a theater, which is often. For that, it's a great resource. The big drawback is that their food is lousy, and incredibly expensive. Maybe a minor gripe, but I'd love to take advantage of a theater with a full dinner menu

The only thing I get is popcorn, and even that comes at an astronomical cost. At Cinemark, I pay 6.25 for a medium popcorn, tax included, and get more popcorn than I can eat. At Alamo? With tax and the 18% forced gratuity I pay 12.71, and the popcorn isn't as good.
